Brain Awareness Meeting - a great success

The Brain Awareness Meeting held at the Brookfield Health Sciences Centre on 14th March 2016 was organised by Dr Barry Boland of the Dept. Pharmacology & Therapeutics and funded by the Dana Foundation (http://www.dana.org/BAW/). 

The meeting was a great success and delegates enjoyed presentations from researchers and clinicians, as well as from representatives from support and advocacy charities working in mental health/illness, brain tumours, brain injury and dementia.

Topics covered ranged from the cognitive and emotional consequences of a brain injury, resilience to stress, dementia and cultivating brain health.
