Anja Tetzner came first in the TK Fitness Strength Wars

Huge congratulations to Anja Tetzner the Senior Technical Officer from the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics for winning the TK Fitness Strength Wars competition held on Sunday 15th December 2019 in Midleton.

Anja Tetzner from the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at UCC took part in the Christmas Strongman / Strongwoman Competition.  She participated in the Novice Women catergory which consisted of the following events:

• DEADLIFT:  Max rep with axle bar
• OVERHEAD PRESS MEDLEY:  30kg Bar, 30kg keg, 35kg axle, 40kg log
• PROWLER PUSH /PULL:  160kg
• ATLAS STONE:  50kg X3 80KG x3 for time over 4ft bar in 60secs
• FARMER'S WALK:  55kg per hand 15m
