Four final year BComm students at UCC finished 5th in an international competition amongst the top Business Schools in the world.
Evelyn McConnell, Justin Schwering, Marie Farrell, and Kevin Barry represented the college at the International John Molson Undergraduate Case Competition in Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.
Their achievement in finishing 5th overall was exceptional as it was the first time students from UCC competed internationally in a CASE competition. In the three hour CASES, UCC defeated Universities of Alberta, Ottawa and Hong Kong. UCC finished 2nd in their group in the 24 hour Case, finishing 5th overall out 24 Global Business Schools.
