Visiting Fulbright Scholar Professor Michael Robert Murphy (Universityof Montana) will present Beckett's Krapp's Last Tape in the Granary Studio, Wednesday 21 March at 6.00pm.
Michael Robert Murphy is a Fulbright Scholar-in-residence at UCC Drama & Theatre Studies Department this semester. His work explores the relationship between performance, film, reality and memory. Beginning with a 2009 production of Beckett's Krapp's Last Tape, then to a film Be Again (2010) based on that work, the exploration continues as he combines live performance and film, exploring the "fold" where past and present meet.
