Pathways to Education, in conjunction with the Disability Support Services of UCC & CIT, recently hosted an Assistive Technology (AT) Exhibition & Demonstration to provide students, parents, teachers and professionals the opportunity to review specialised software and equipment.
The event afforded the opportunity to view and discuss the many technologies (software and hardware) available with expert providers.  It also provided an opportunity to discuss how assistive technology can be of benefit to students with disabilities or specific learning difficulties in education. The event was organised and run by Linda Doran, Assistive Technology Officer, Disability Support Service and Martin Flynn, Pathways Project Manager, (CIT and UCC Collaboration under the Strategic Innovation Fund Cycle 2).

Pictured at the event were:  Frank Lennon, Ash Technologies Limited and Finola Harrington
