Dr John D. Lambkin the CTO and co-founder or Firecomms was a senior research scientist at the Tyndall National Institute before he started Firecomms.  " Our initial research in Tyndall was brought to a level of maturity before we spun the technology with Venture Capital support in 2001. Since then we have always maintained a deep and highly productive collaboration with the Photonics group in Tyndall and the ZJF Group is very aware of the depth of resources available at Tyndall which will continue to play a key role in our future R&D investments ". Stated John Lambkin adding "We could not have achieved all this without Tyndall."
