Professor Geraldine McCarthy, Acting Head of College hosted the event which was attended by the students with their family members and friends alongside staff from the College of Medicine & Health. A prize of €1,000 was awarded to the student with the highest mark at 1st Class Honours level in the 12 undergraduate degree programmes offered in the College. As Acting Head of the College, Professor McCarthy said that she was very proud of the high standards attained by these students and congratulated them on their achievements.
The ceremony took place in the Jennings Gallery, Brookfield Health Sciences Complex, UCC.
