Careers Forum for PhD Students

UCC Careers Services and the Graduate School of the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences (CACSSS) held their third annual post-PhD careers forum on Wednesday, May 26th 2010.

The forum was aimed at research postgraduates interested in exploring career options outside the academy. Previous events of this kind have been informative and lively and have generated enthusiastic responses from the audience.

Delegates were afforded the opportunity to hear former PhDs of Arts and Social Science disciplines describe their non-academic career journeys since graduation.

Dr Gareth Ivory, Manager, RTE Audience Research
Dr Chiara Garrattini, Social Researcher, TRIL Centre, Intel
