At present, there are over 2,000 international students on campus from 95 different countries. These students make up 12% of the student body at UCC.

The festival is a joint venture between Áras na Mac Léinn and the International Education Office, UCC.

Following on from the Festival, the International Education Office will run a seminar titled "Study Abroad Opportunities for UCC Students" on Wednesday, February 25th in Boole 2 commencing at 5pm.
