Shutdown of Electrical Power to UCC Main Campus - October Bank Holiday Weekend

The Electrical Power will be shut down to the entire Main Campus buildings during the following times over the October Bank Holiday Weekend: 1830hrs Friday, October 24th until 0600hrs Tuesday, October 28th 2008.

The Electrical Power will be shut down to the entire Main Campus buildings during the following times over the October Bank Holiday Weekend: 1830hrs Friday, October 24th until 0600hrs Tuesday, October 28th 2008.
The electrical shutdown is necessary to facilitate an ongoing programme of renewal of the medium voltage electrical infrastructure which serves the UCC community.
The University will be closed during this time. Access to UCC buildings should be by special arrangement with Department Heads/General Services.
Special provisions are in place to maintain essential services and facilities during the period.
Power to outlying Houses and Satellite Campus areas will be unaffected.
