On Thursday, September 18th 2008, the Centre for Criminal Justice and Human Rights (CCJHR), UCC and the Irish Council for Civil Liberties will host an evening seminar on "Judicial Diversity: Strategies for Change".

On Thursday, September 18th 2008, the Centre for Criminal Justice and Human Rights (CCJHR), UCC and the Irish Council for Civil Liberties will host an evening seminar on "Judicial Diversity: Strategies for Change".
The keynote speaker for the evening is Baroness Usha Prashar, CBE, Chairperson of the UK Judicial Appointments Commission. Other speakers include Kate Malleson, Professor of Law, Queen Mary, University of London and Mr Dermot Feenan, School of Law, University of Ulster. The seminar seeks to promote greater discussion and reflection on judicial appointments processes and judicial diversity in Ireland.
