The Counselling and Health Studies Unit, UCC is pleased to host the 2007 International Association for Counselling (IAC) conference which runs from July 9th-13th.

Keynote Speakers include: Professor Joannis Nestoros, Professor Eleanor O'Leary, Professor Helen Cowie and Dr Manoj Kurian.
An additional unique aspect of conferences is provided by The International Research Day which gives delegates the opportunity to co-operate in a piece of international research if they so wish.
Roundtable discussants will be drawn from a broad spectrum of national and international experts in their respective fields who will address associated topics.
Research-based and evidence-based papers will be presented in the Working Groups that bring together delegates from varying backgrounds to share information, strategies and resources relating to a particular strand. They will be themed around Counselling, Group Counselling and/or Personal Development to Promote Wellness when working with Children, Adults or The Third Age. These themes may be discussed in relation to: for example, specific Health Issues; Spirituality; Family Issues; Careers; Third Level Education and Services; Mental Health in both Community and Statutory Institutional Services.
