The day's events will include presentations on all degree programmes repeated throughout the day, talks for Transition Year students with a focus on course content and subject choice, a presentation on student life with a Students' Union representative, and talks on entry routes for students with FETAC qualifications.

Visiting students will be given the opportunity to discuss each programme, career options and entry procedures with current students and staff at information stands around campus, including the Brookfield Health Sciences Complex. Representatives from all student services, including the Disability Support Services, the Mature Student Office, Accommodation and Careers Services will be located in the Main Restaurant for the day.  There will also be music and demonstrations from clubs and societies as well as tours of the Mardyke Sports Arena.

The Open Day provides prospective students with the opportunity to learn about the academic, sporting and social sides to life at UCC. Senior cycle students, parents and teachers are all welcome.
