The Department of Hispanic Studies at UCC is delighted to announce that it has recently expanded its academic role by becoming the Examining Centre in Cork for the Instituto Cervantes.

The Department of Hispanic Studies at UCC is delighted to announce that it has recently expanded its academic role by becoming the Examining Centre in Cork for the Instituto Cervantes.
In this new role, the Department will be responsible for administering the Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language DELE examinations - the first of which will take place on November 16th 2007.
These Diplomas are the only officially accredited qualifications issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education. Every year, 30,000 candidates sit examinations for these Diplomas, which are recognized worldwide by private companies, chambers of commerce, and public and private education systems.
The examinations are open to all members of the public and will be offered at all three levels - Inicial, Intermedio and Avanzado.
