UCC's Careers Service hosts Two-Day Recruitment Fair, 25-26 October
UCC's Careers Service hosts a major on-campus two-day Recruitment Fair
on Tuesday and Wednesday 25 and 26 October. The Fair, which takes
place in the Multifunctional Hall (Aras na Mac Léinn) from 12 noon to
5.00pm, will feature over 70 graduate recruiters exhibiting. "All
sectors of employment will be represented including the food and drink
sector, financial services, engineering and the pharmaceutical
industry. There should be something of interest for students from
all disciplines", said Mary McNulty, Deputy Head of Service at Careers.
The Fair provides both undergraduate and postgraduate students with a
unique opportunity to meet with a large number of graduate employers
who are recruiting in 2006, under the one roof, over a two-day period.
Representatives of these companies will describe their organisation and
typical vacancies with a view to encouraging students to apply when
vacancies arise.
Companies represented will include large and small, local, national and
international companies, across all disciplines. See the Careers
Service website http://www.ucc.ie/careers for a list of participating firms.
The Careers Service at UCC supports students to understand their
careers interests, evaluate and assess career opportunities and
effectively implement their career decisions through continuous
interaction with employers, students, academics/staff.
