Professor Ó Macháin gave an indepth overview of the manuscript’s remarkable story and enduring significance. The lecture took place in St. Carthage’s Cathedral, Lismore, as part of Munster Fleadh 2026 and shone a light on one of Ireland’s most celebrated medieval manuscripts which is rich in history, folklore, saints’ lives and heroic tales, and remains one of the great treasures of Irish literary history.
