Conference on Irish-language lexicography and phraseology

The Foclóireacht agus Frásaíocht na Gaeilge 2026 conference took place on the 27th May 2026.
An impressive crowd attended the second edition of the Foclóireacht agus Frásaíocht na Gaeilge conference, organised by Dr Katie Ní Loingsigh of the Department of Modern Irish.
The keynote lecture was given by Dr Pádraig Ó Mianáin (Rannóg na Foclóireachta, Foras na Gaeilge) who provided an overview of the important lexicographic work currently being undertaken by the editorial team on the focloir.ie project.
