Congratulations to Siobhán Ní Dhomhnaill

Warm congratulations to Siobhán Ní Dhomhnaill, a student on the MA in Law and Irish, who won a major prize at Listowel Writers’ Week for her unpublished collection of poems. The adjudicator, poet Thomas McCarthy, was struck by the originality of her bilingual collection. Siobhán took the module GA6034 Creative Writing with Dr Ailbhe Ní Ghearbhuigh and regularly attended the informal workshop in An Seomra Caidrimh during Semester 2. We are looking forward to seeing her poetry in print!
