Dr. Ultan Neville

Biography

B.Sc. (Hons.), M.Sc., Ph.D.

Ultan Neville was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at MISL in University College Cork under the DYPOSIT project. His research focused primarily on autonomic security control reconfiguration, and the problem of large, shared Cyber-Physical System infrastructures under attack. He obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Security from University College Cork in 2017. He also holds an M.Sc. in Software and Systems for Mobile Networks (2011) and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science (2010), both awarded from University College Cork.

 

Research Interests

His current research interests are in network and system security, access control, firewalls, and dynamic policy frameworks.
