UCC Student Experience
Student Accommodation
UCC has a large range of high-quality student accommodation within a short walk of campus, suitable for all students but of particular appeal to First-Year and international students. In addition to UCC-owned campus accommodation, many students rent houses and apartments near to Brookfield Health Sciences Complex and the Wilton/Bishopstown area. Student accommodation is centred around College Road and nearby areas, thus creating a lively student 'quartier' beside the University.
The Student Residential Services office is an accommodation information service for all students. They provide advise for all current and prospective UCC students about available accommodation in the wider Cork area.

Student Support
In UCC, there are strong Student Support services. This consists of a peer support network where students from other years in the programme will help and advise you on study, books, etc. The medical school also has a dedicated Student Support Service which can refer to the Student Health Centre or counselling services. Medical school faculty are always happy to see students who have concerns or worries and we consider your well-being a priority.
