About the Programme
UCC offers two medical programmes - a 5-year ‘Direct Entry’ programme (school-leaver students) and a 4- year Graduate Entry Medicine programme. Both programmes lead to the same qualification: Bachelor in Medicine, Bachelor in Surgery and Bachelor in the Art of Obstetrics (Hons). UCC School of Medicine offers a variety of clinical electives abroad, an Erasmus exchange programme with Lille, France and dedicated support for students sitting the USMLE examinations.
