Abstract
Inclusion health seeks to prevent and address the health and social inequalities experienced by groups of people due to poverty, social exclusion and multi-morbidity. It aims to correct the imbalances that result in health inequities through targeted provisions in areas of greatest need. But instead of the "othering" of targeted measures, we should understand that inclusive healthcare is an interconnected concern that has a collective benefit. The recent pandemic illustrated just how important it is to consider our health within a collective rather than in an individualised context. This bus stop chat will explore the concept of inclusion health and how it impacts all our lives.

Bus Stop Chat Series
The ISS21 SHAPE (Society, Health Equity and Political Economy) research cluster will host a series of online Bus Stop Chats, from December 2025 to May 2026. Each of these informal lunch-time events involves a member of the SHAPE cluster presenting and discussing an area of their research to an interested and largely non-expert audience.
