ISS21 Disability & Mental Health Research Sharing Event
.png)
On Friday 19 September the ISS21 Disability and Mental Health Research Cluster hosted a meet and greet event at which colleagues from across UCC shared their research/research interests in this field.
The ISS21 Disability and Mental Health cluster is an interdisciplinary forum which brings together researchers, academics and practitioners from across the UCC community, whose interests reflect the complexity and diversity of research within the arena of disability and mental health. The cluster has been in existence for a number of years, but we are conscious that new staff and researchers are continually joining the university whose interests may align with the cluster's. To that end, and in the spirit of building awareness and further interdisciplinary collaborations, a meet and greet event was held to mark the start of the new academic year.
The event provided an introduction to the cluster, and attendees shared their research interests. The event was also an opportunity to find out about ongoing projects in the area of disability and mental health, including the recently launched RED Framework project, the CODA project and the id+futures Project.
