Dr Katharina Swirak - Joint Winner of Engaged Research Award 2023
Congratulations to Dr Katharina Swirak, Department of Sociology and Criminology, Joint Winner of the Engaged Research of the Year Award at the recent UCC Research and Innovation Awards 2023.
Through her socially engaged research, Katharina’s research provides a better understanding and improves the lives of people with criminal convictions.
On the evening, Katharina’s award was collected by Dr Tom Boland, Head of Department of Sociology and Criminology UCC.
