The Joint Annual Scientific Meeting of the AUDGPI / ICGP Annual Scientific Meeting took place on February 28th and March 1st 2019 in Dublin. Dr Elaine Walsh, GP and lecturer in the Department of General Practice at UCC was awarded both the James McCormick Prize of the best research presentation and the AUDGPI bursary for the best presentation overall.

Elaine's awards were for her presentation on The PHARMS (Patient Held Active Record of Medication Status) study: a mixed methods feasibility study
Elaine's success is a 'double - double' for the UCC Department of General Practice - last year Dr Aisling Jennings, GP and PhD candidate in the Department also won these two awards for her work on the PREPARED dementia project.
