UCC Wins the 10th Great Agri‑Food Debate! Huge congratulations to UCC's incredible team, crowned overall winners of this year’s Great Agri‑Food Debate organised by Dawn Meats and co-sponsored by McDonalds.
Four of the champions are final‑year Nutritional Sciences students, Aoife Lynch, Anna Ryan, Apoorva Unde & Claudine Lynch - joined by researcher Yuelin Zhan.
The team triumphed in a high‑quality final against UCD, successfully proposing the motion that “Artificial Intelligence will create opportunities for farms to improve productivity sustainably and must be adopted as a matter of national policy.”
