FITU feature on RTÉ Nationwide

On Wednesday the 27th of March Nationwide ran a story on UCC and its infamous relationship with food. The thirty minute programme focused on UCC's world class Food Research and Education programme including the new Degree in Agricultural Sciences which will run from September 2019. Professor Paul McSweeny provides a fascinating overview on the 90 years of Dairy Science at the college. Professor Thia Hennessy discussed the challenges facing the food industry particularly in the light of Brexit and Mary McCarthy Buckley from, manager of FITU discussed the strong link between UCC and the food industry and continued professional development.
