Undergraduate Achievements Recognised at School of English Welcome Event
29 Sep 2017

Certificates awarded for the best undergraduate work in 2016/17
The School hosted its annual
welcome
event in the Staff Common Room this Wednesday evening. Certificates were awarded in recognition of last year’s best undergraduate work, and we also took the opportunity to
welcome new staff, postdoctoral fellows, postgraduate students, our new writer-in-residence Thomas Morris, and the Frank O’Connor International Fellow in the Short Story, Marie-Helene Bertino. Recipients of the awards - Ashley Manning, Darragh McGrath, Alex Hayes, Gemma Kent and Victoria Lester - came with their familes to share a glass of wine, meet staff members, and listen to poet Leanne O'Sullivan giving a short reading.
