School's Research Project Selected for IRC's Light-Show Celebrating Irish Research

Dr Birkett's question on 'Crowdsourcing the Vikings' one of six to feature in this week-long installation
To mark Science Week 2016, the Irish Research Council will be lighting up the well-known Dublin City Council building on Dame Street with a series of light projections celebrating Irish researchers past and present.
The light projections will be switched on from 5pm to midnight every day from Monday, 14 November to Friday, 18 November. Projected from the adjacent Dublin City Hall, the light show will be visible on the side of the Dublin City Council Building on Barnardo Square, Dame Street, Dublin 2.
Short responses to these research questions, including 'Can crowdsourcing help us discover more about our Viking past?' can be found on the Irish Council website. For more about the World-Tree Project from which this research question is taken, see www.worldtreeproject.org
