Lorna Goodison becomes Jamaican Poet Laureate

Goodison to be invested as the first female Poet Laureate of Jamaica in May
The School of English was delighted to welcome Lorna to UCC in July 2016, as a plenary speaker at the conference 'Irish Caribbean Connections', and offers many congratulations on her appointment as poet Laureate of Jamaica.
