Dr Tom Birkett to join the Viking Ship 'Havhingsten' on its Northern Expedition

Tom will join a crew of 65 onboard the beautiful 'Sea Stallion from Glendalough'
Dr Birkett, who sailed with the Havhingsten guild for the first time two years ago, is joining the international crew of the reconstructed Viking Ship 'Sea Stallion from Glendalough' for the second leg of its summer expedition. This year the ship will be heading north, with the exact route determined by the winds! The Sea Stallion departs on 4 July, and you can follow its progress here. More information about the reconstruction and sailing of Viking ships can be found on the website of the Roskilde Viking Ship Museum here.
