Sian has over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. As a graduate of Hospitality Management from University of Wales, Institute Cardiff, she has spent much of her career working in Sales and Event management roles in prominent hotels across the UK and Ireland. From 2008 - 2018, Sian developed and led the Events Team at the 5 star Castlemartyr Resort. During her time here, Sian organised a wide variety of corporate and social events and was delighted to have won with her team the prestigious WOL, Wedding Venue of the Year award for Ireland. Previous to this, Sian worked with Jury’s Hotel group and was positioned at The Burlington Hotel.

Sian joined UCC Academy in 2019 in the capacity of Events Project Co-ordinator. The Conference UCC office offers a full event management service and Sian will be responsible for coordinating events from concept to completion.
