CCAE 2023 Summer Catalogue of Undergraduate Works

24 Aug 2023

Summer Catalogue of 2023 Undergraduate Student works now available to view

Cork Centre for Architectural Education celebrates its student's work by showcasing a selection of undergraduate projects from Years 1 through 3, and the graduating BSc (Hons) in Architecture class (Year 4) in an annual summer catalogue of works. In the past, these would have been produced in a physical format but over the last few years, we've taken a circular economic and more accessible approach and made the publication available online to prospective and current students, graduates, and alumni.

This year's publication is split into two, with one highlighting student work from Years 1, 2, and 3, with an extract from the UCC Architecture Society, while the second focuses on our graduating BSc (Hons) Architecture class, Year 4, featuring individual's final year projects and extracts from dissertations completed during the year. The aesthetic remains consistent and cohesive with the other, reflecting the flow from years and progressions of architectural knowledge and understanding.

Cork Centre for Architectural Education (CCAE) offers two programmes: a 4-year Bachelors degree (BSc(Hons)Architecture) and a 12-month Master of Architecture (M.Arch), jointly validated by University College Cork and Munster Technological University. Together these degrees meet the five years of academic study required as part of qualification for membership of the Royal Institute for the Architects of Ireland. The M.Arch degree has been notified and approved by the European Commission and is therefore recognised as a professional qualification throughout the European Union.
