Inaugural Student Research Conference showcases research in Early Childhood Studies
The first-ever UCC Early Years and Childhood Studies Student Research Conference was held recently in UCC featuring over 80 student-led research papers and poster presentations. The conference offered final-year BA(Early Years and Childhood Studies) students the opportunity to present their research. It was jointly hosted by the School of Applied Social Studies, School of Applied Psychology and School of Education at University College Cork.
The event highlighted a wide range of critical themes in early childhood, including Play, Language, and Cognitive Development in the Early Years, Inclusive Education and Developmental Support, Technology, Screen Time, and Digital Media, and Social and Emotional Development.
The conference provided a vibrant platform for students to share their work, engage in academic dialogue, and contribute to advancing knowledge in the field of early childhood education and care.
