Abstract
This webinar will explore the intersection of environmental justice and social work, highlighting how green social work practices can be integrated into a variety of social services. Participants will gain an understanding of how environmental factors, such as pollution and climate change, disproportionately affect marginalised communities and influence social well-being. We will discuss actionable strategies for social workers to advocate for environmental equity in their practice, even in settings where climate change is not the primary focus. By the end of the session, practitioners and managers will be equipped with tools to embed ecological issues into assessments and to promote environmental justice as part of their holistic approach to service-users.
