Join us on 1st December for the talk titled “What Future(s)?: Contemporary Latin American Dystopian Fiction and (Post-)Capitalocene Existences”, by Prof. Eduardo Marks de Marques, from Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel), Brazil. This event is organised by ARTFICTIONS and Leitorado Guimarães Rosa, with the support of the UCC Eco Humanities Research Group. Aiming to foster academic cooperation between the two institutions, this event also marks the establishment of a new partnership between UCC and UFPel.

After the talk, there will be a one-hour informal hybrid session with researchers from UFPel to present and debate our research interests, seeking to find common interests for future cooperation.
