Golden Age Research Symposium in UCC 2021

26 Nov 2021

Friday 26 – Sunday 28, November 2021

Golden Age Research Symposium

Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies

University College Cork

Friday 26 – Sunday 28, November 2021

The aim of the Symposium is to bring together researchers whose work concerns the literature, history, culture, and visual arts of the Spanish Golden Age (1474-1681).

This year, our Symposium is specially dedicated to Dr. Trevor Dadson, who left us last year and who will be deeply missed by all; thus we encourage our speakers to consider presenting a paper on a subject related to Dr. Dadson’s research interests in order that the Symposium become a tribute to his work.

Please, note that this is simply a suggestion, and that the only limitation in terms of topic is that all presentations must be related to the Spanish Golden Age.

The symposium will begin on the afternoon of Friday 26 November and will end at lunchtime on Sunday 28 November.
