Dr Danny Forde to present Walking, Nature and Health - a Lecture at Griston Bog, Ballylanders
Taking place on 22 August, 2:30pm - 3:45pm at Griston Bog Nature Reserve, Ballylanders, Co. Limerick
Dr Danny Forde, UCC, will present this special lecture on why walking in nature has such a powerful effect on us. He will draw together insights from philosophy, ecology and contemporary ideas about ecotherapy to explore how walking can restore our attention, ease anxiety and help us feel part of something larger than ourselves. This free event is supported by the Boss Murphy Community Fund.
