Academic Certification - Available Documentation
University College Cork will close for the Christmas holiday period from Friday, December 18th, reopening on Monday, January 4th, 2021.
There is a significant volume of certification requests at this time.
All certification orders with a currently indicated requirement for production before December 18th will be provided, where possible.
All other certification requests will be fulfilled in sequence as soon as possible after January 4th, 2021.
The Student Records and Examinations Office certifies copies of
on sight of the originals.
An Academic Transcript lists your complete academic history: programmes attended, a breakdown of marks/grades achieved in each module, the degree awarded, your overall grade, conferring date, and awards/scholarships, if applicable.

It is possible to order up to 5 hard copies as well as a PDF copy in one transaction.
The PDF copy also costs €10.

A Statement of Examination Results is a statement of your marks/grades and overall results achieved in each subject/module and exam sitting within each academic year.

A Qualification Statement lists the qualification(s) you have been awarded, the level of award(s), and the conferring date(s).

The purpose of the supplement is to provide sufficient independent data to improve the international ‘transparency’ and fair academic and professional recognition of qualifications (diplomas, degrees, certificates etc.). It is designed to provide a description of the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies that were pursued and successfully completed by the individual named on the original qualification to which this supplement is appended.

J1 Visa Certification
The Student Records and Examinations Office certifies J1 Visa Forms for students wishing to travel to the USA for the Summer. If a student is in the Final Year of his/her course, the Student Records & Examinations Office will not certify J1 Visa Forms, unless the student can prove he/she will be returning to University for further study.
A student who is prevented for medical reasons or other personal circumstances from attending all or part of an examination, and who has not withdrawn from the programme, should submit to the Registrar and Vice-President for Academic Affairs a full report (including a medical certificate) or a full report setting out the personal circumstances as soon as possible and not more than three days following his/her last examination for the consideration of the Board of Examiners.
