Quercus scholar, Gormfhlaith, wins Dónal Doc Gleeson Award
Creative and Performing Arts Quercus scholar, Gormfhlaith Ní Shíocháin Ní Bheoláin, has received a Dónal Doc Gleeson Award for performance excellence. This is another is a long list of awards for Gormfhlaith, a multilpe award winner at Feis Maitiú.
Gormfhlaith Ní Shíocháin Ní Bheoláin has been awarded a Dónal Doc Gleeson Award from the Music Department UCC. The award,for performance excellence, is based on end of year recital exams in first year and second year. Gormfhlaith played classical piano and traditional tin whistle for her recital and will be performing as part of the upcoming Fuaim concert series 20/21.
Gormfhlaith was also awarded a joint Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann scholarship just before the lock down. Congratulations Gormfhlaith!
