Quercus Innovation/Entrepreneurship Scholars give Q&A session
At a joint Ignite/Quercus event four Quercus Innovation/Entrepreneurship scholars, Alex Goodison, Annie Madden, Nick Cotter & Emma Coffey gave a Q&A session on what it takes to be a successful business person while also being a full-time student.
They talked about their businesses and the mistakes that they encountered on the way to success. They discussed their time-management and they pointed out failures that they learned from.
Alex is the co-founder of HomePlan, an app that helps clients to maintain and manager their entire home.
Annie is the co-founder of FenuHealth, which produces a supplement specially created to promote gut health in horses.
Nick is the co-founder of Cotter Agritech, which develops and commercialises accessible solutions for sheep farmers.
Emma is the founder of FinalBend, a sustainable active-wear company.
The night was a huge success with a large attendance of students across all years. Later in the evening, the scholars talked again at the Ignite showcase in the Atrium of the Hub.
