James McGlynn

Quercus Creative & Performing Arts Scholar alumni, James McGlynn, has been awarded the Rev. Liam Swords Foundation Bursary 2018.

James, who did a BMus as an undergraduate, is a conductor, composer and PhD researcher. James was the musical director for a number of the Quercus Galas and he has never failed to impress us with his ability to pull together such varied and wonderful musical programmes. This bursary will allow him to pursue his music for 3 months based at Le Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris.
