Announcing the first lecture in our new Public Health in Action Seminar Series 2024/2025

“Sepsis: A Public Health Concern?” Denise McCarthy, Assistant Director of Nursing Sepsis SSWHG. 

The focus of this series is public health in practice, highlighting the public health expertise that exists among our faculty including our adjunct faculty and how this is impacting on public health practice. 

It also provides a valuable opportunity to communicate how the research we are undertaking collaboratively with service partners is protecting the population and improving population health policy and outcomes. 

The first seminar in the Public Health in Action Seminar Series 2024/25 will be given by Denise McCarthy, RGN, BSc, PGDip ICU, MPH, Assistant Director of Nursing, Sepsis HSE South West. Denise is the ADON for Sepsis since 2023 and is also a member of the Global Sepsis Alliance fellowship programme since 2021.
