Ambassador of Romania Visits UCC

President O’Halloran welcomed the Ambassador of Romania, H.E. Mr Laurenţiu-Mihai Ştefan, and a delegation from the Embassy of Romania, to UCC Friday, September 9th, 2022.
The group visited the President’s Office where Ambassador Ştefan signed the Visitor’s Book and was presented with a gift.
H.E. Mr Laurenţiu-Mihai Ştefan is a specialist in political sciences, analyst and researcher of the Romanian political life, with diplomatic experience gained during his term as presidential adviser (2015-2021) and as a specialist in political issues within the US Embassy in Bucharest (2004-2015).
Also present for the meeting were UCC’s Director of European Relations and Public Affairs Dr Jean van Sinderen-Law and Romanian-born Professor Sabin Tabirca.
