The Department of Paediatrics & Child Health is committed to encouraging undergraduate students to engage in research and gain valuable early research experience. We welcome students with an interest in paediatrics and child health and are delighted to support their involvement in a variety of research projects.

Undergraduate students wishing to undertake a Senior Research Project with the Department of Paediatrics & Child Health should email aoife.crowley@ucc.ie  with their project request before 09 October 2026.

Students are encouraged to indicate their areas of research interest. The Department will endeavour to match students with a supervisor whose expertise aligns with their preferred research area wherever possible.
