About this course
Fire Marshal training should be undertaken by nominated staff every 3 years.
The course duration is 1 hour and is provided via MS Teams by Niall Hedderman, University Fire Safety Consultant.
The aim of this course is to provide staff with a comprehensive knowledge of their duties and actions to be followed during a fire. There is a legal requirement on employers to prepare an emergency plan outlining how the workplace will be evcauated in the event of a fire outbreak and the fire marshal has an important role in the execution of this plan.
