UCC and CEC join forces

Cork English College was founded in 1978 and welcomes over 3,000 students a year to Cork. CEC is also an official Cambridge and IELTS testing centre. UCC attracts a large number of international students with more than 2,800 students from over 100 countries and all five continents currently registered.

Cork English College (CEC) and UCC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding around CEC’s University Pathways Programmes. This academic year programme prepares international students for entry into undergraduate and Master’s programmes in UCC.

CEC is currently accepting students on its University Pathways Programme starting in September 2013. CEC was founded in 1978 and welcomes over 3,000 students a year to Cork. CEC is also an official Cambridge and IELTS testing centre.

UCC attracts a large number of international students annually, with more than 2,800 students from over 100 countries and all five continents currently registered.

The University has four colleges - Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences: Business and Law; Science, Engineering and Food Science; and Medicine and Health. There are approximately 20,000 students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate studies. At undergraduate level the University offers a large variety of degree programmes and there is a full range of postgraduate degrees (both taught and by research) at the level of Master and Doctor in all departments.
