Death of UCC member of staff

The University is deeply saddened by the death of staff member, Frank McGrath, following a tragic accident on campus yesterday (Tuesday, 5 March 2013).
Frank McGrath joined UCC in 1986 and was a most respected member of the Buildings and Estates Department. Immensely popular among all staff, he was elected on two occasions to membership of the Governing Body where he shared his wisdom, pragmatism and above all his loyalty to, and pride in UCC.
The University wishes to extend its sincere sympathy to his family and colleagues.
