Danish Ambassador visits UCC

The Danish Ambassador to Ireland visited UCC, at the invitation of the European Studies Programme, to talk about "Denmark in Europe after 40 years: Perspectives and Reflections."

Ambassador Niels Christen Pultz has a great deal of experience in Foreign Affairs, going back to 1977. Among other postings, he served in the Permanent Representation of Denmark to the EU, Brussels for many years. He was appointed Ambassador to Ireland in January 2010.

Denmark held the Presidency of the EU in the first half of 2012.

This event was organised by Katherine McGarry, on behalf of the European Studies Programme, operated by the Schools of History and Geography for more than two decades.
