Cancer experts talk to the public

The Forum will allow the general public to put questions to an international panel of cancer experts that will include surgeons, radiologists and oncologists who will be in Cork to present on the multimodal management of colorectal cancer secondary liver disease. The Public Forum is part of the Southern Symposium on Foregut Cancer and the All Ireland Colorectal Conference taking place in Cork this weekend.
“This is a rare opportunity to speak to experts at the cutting edge in the treatment of liver secondaries from colorectal cancer. They are looking forward to sharing their experience and knowledge with Irish patients and are eager to answer any questions the public may have about the treatment challenge of these liver metastases”, said Chair of the Free Public Forum, Mr Criostóir O’Súilleabháin, Consultant Surgeon, Mercy University Hospital, Cork.
